Vinification

Harvesting starts around 15 September. Grapes are hand-picked and placed in plastic crates. Grapes hand-picked from clusters, followed by table sorting. Casked by gravity into stainless steel vats of 40 hl. Maceration at low temperature for 4-5 days before alcoholic fermentation begins. 15-20 day maceration before running off the wine into barrels. Vertical manual pressing. Malolactic fermentation takes place in the barrels. Aged in the same French-oak barrels for about 18 months.

Commentary

Intense, deep, black color, nose of red and black fruit. The same fruit returns in the palate, with great roundness, and a full-flavored finish.
