Le Sauternes de ma fille

Grand vin de Bordeaux

Le Sauternes de ma fille - Grand vin de Bordeaux

Vinification

Hand harvested with successive sortings to pick only perfectly botrytized grapes. Meticulous sorting in the vineyard before long, gentle pressing to extract a high-quality must. Vinification in oak barrels, each batch vinified separately. Aged in barrels for 10 to 18 months.

Commentary

A full-flavored, rich and dense sweet wine with an attractive color. Recent vintages have a straw color verging on gold and amber with age. An intense nose with citrus notes. Over time, notes of honey will come to the fore. An attractive balanced wine which retains a certain lightness despite the residual sugar.

Grape variety

99% Sémillon, 1% Sauvignon blanc, Sauvignon gris et Muscadelle.
