Vinification

Hand harvested in crates. Grapes hand-picked from clusters, manual transferal into low-capacity oak vats by gravity. Maceration prior to fermentation, hand-plunging. 30 days maceration. Directly drawn-off into new barrels by gravity, without pumping.

Commentary

Dark color with purplish-blue hints. Elegant, roasted nose with notes of coffee. In the mouth, the wine is full-flavored and well structured. An interesting finish with new aromas of wine-poached pear.

Grape variety

68% Tannat, 16% Cabernet Franc, 16% Merlot.
